Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions of Linkdirectory.fr

Last modified: October 12, 2026

Article 1 – Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to visiting and using Linkdirectory.fr, the associated services, the creation and use of user accounts, and all orders and agreements concluded via the platform.

By creating an account, placing an order, or using our services, the user declares to have read and agreed to these general terms and conditions.

When a user acts on behalf of a company, they declare that they possess the necessary authority to represent that company.

Linkdirectory.fr may amend these general terms and conditions when necessary due to changes in service provision, technical developments, business operations, or applicable legislation. The most recent version will be published on the website. Changes are applied with due observance of applicable legislation and existing contractual obligations.

Article 2 – Definitions and nature of the platform

  • Platform: the website Linkdirectory.fr and all associated functionalities and services.
  • Administrator: the natural person or legal entity that operates the platform.
  • User: any natural person or legal entity that visits or uses the website.
  • Advertiser: a user who purchases advertising services, links, publications, or promotional placements via the platform.
  • Publisher: a website owner, publisher, or other user who offers advertising space, backlinks, articles, or other promotional opportunities.
  • Order: any order placed via the platform for an advertisement, link, publication, or other offered service.
  • Backlink: a hyperlink on a website that refers to another website or web page.
  • Advertising content: all texts, images, links, banners, articles, metadata, and other content provided or published by users.
  • External website: any website or online service that is not directly managed by the administrator.

The platform offers users the ability to offer, search for, purchase, and manage advertising services. Linkdirectory.fr does not guarantee that an offered service will yield a specific commercial or SEO result.

Article 3 – Information and liability for the website

Linkdirectory.fr strives to keep information on the website as current, reliable, and complete as possible. However, the website may contain information originating from users, publishers, or other third parties. Linkdirectory.fr cannot guarantee that all information is complete, accurate, or up-to-date at all times.

Users remain personally responsible for assessing information they consult via the platform and for the decisions they make based on that information.

Linkdirectory.fr is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from consulting or using information on the website, including loss of profit, revenue, visitors, potential customers, or business opportunities.

Linkdirectory.fr may temporarily make the website or certain parts thereof unavailable due to maintenance, updates, security measures, technical problems, or other reasonable operational reasons. The content, functionalities, and links on the website may be modified when necessary.

Linkdirectory.fr is not liable for damages resulting from temporary interruptions, network problems, or technical malfunctions.

Article 4 – Backlinks and SEO Results

The platform may offer services related to placing, obtaining, publishing, or managing backlinks, text links, promotional articles, and other forms of online references.

Linkdirectory.fr does not guarantee any specific improvement in a website's position in Google or other search engines. Purchasing, placing, or receiving a backlink or other type of advertisement does not guarantee a higher ranking, more organic traffic, better domain authority, increased revenue, or any other concrete SEO result.

Search engines independently determine how they evaluate websites, pages, content, and links. Their algorithms, guidelines, indexing processes, and evaluation methods may change at any time. Linkdirectory.fr has no control over these decisions.

Linkdirectory.fr is not liable for:

  • changes in search results or search engine positions;
  • the failure of SEO improvement after placing a backlink;
  • the loss of existing positions in search engines;
  • changes in domain authority, page values, or similar SEO metrics;
  • the failure of search engines to index, ignore, or remove pages and backlinks;
  • algorithmic changes or manual measures by search engines;
  • changes in the value, operation, or evaluation of backlinks by third parties;
  • the absence of visitors, clicks, leads, sales, or other commercial results;
  • consequences of the SEO strategy chosen by an advertiser themselves.

The purchase of a link or Ad placement does not mean that Linkdirectory.fr guarantees that the link will be followed by search engines, used as a ranking signal, or yield a specific SEO value.

The technical characteristics of a link, including the use of rel="nofollow", rel="sponsored", or rel="ugc", may vary depending on the service, the publisher, the nature of the publication, and the applicable guidelines.

Advertisers are themselves responsible for assessing the risks of their link building strategy and for complying with the guidelines applicable to the search engines and advertising platforms they target.

A listing on Linkdirectory.fr does not constitute a guarantee that the website in question is recommended, monitored, or endorsed in terms of content by Linkdirectory.fr. Nor does a mention guarantee that it will have a positive or neutral effect on the position of the website in question in search engines.

Article 5 – External websites and links

The website may contain links to external websites. These links may be placed by users, publishers, page administrators, or other third parties.

The inclusion of a link does not mean that Linkdirectory.fr recommends the website in question, endorses its content, or collaborates with its owner. Linkdirectory.fr provides no general guarantee regarding the suitability, accuracy, completeness, availability, or security of external websites.

Visiting external websites is the responsibility of the user. Users are responsible for verifying the terms, privacy statements, and security features of external websites themselves.

Linkdirectory.fr is not liable for damages arising from content, products, services, security issues, or actions of external websites over which Linkdirectory.fr has no control.

Website owners or administrators who object to a link or mention may notify Linkdirectory.fr via the available contact options, with an explanation of the nature of their objection. Linkdirectory.fr reserves the right to review a notification and, if there is cause to do so, to modify or remove the link or mention in question. Linkdirectory.fr can under no circumstances be held liable for any consequences of such a mention or its removal and is not obliged to pay any damages, compensation, or other financial reimbursement.

Article 6 – Link management and requests for link exchange

6.1. Adding links

Users who are owners or administrators of a website and wish to request a link or mention on Linkdirectory.fr may use the available request procedure or contact options for this purpose.

If a specific request procedure requires a link exchange, the conditions for the mutual link mention will be communicated during that procedure. A request does not automatically grant the right to publication.

Upon receipt, Linkdirectory.fr or the authorized page administrator may manually verify the request. A link or mention may be refused if it does not comply with the applicable terms, content guidelines, technical requirements, or legal obligations.

When a mention is dependent on a mutual backlink, the mention will remain subject to the condition that the agreed backlink remains active on the specified page and the specified domain.

A link or mention on Linkdirectory.fr does not constitute a guarantee of a specific position, indexing, traffic flow, or SEO value. Linkdirectory.fr is not liable for search engine consequences arising from the presence, modification, or removal of a link.

6.2. Modify or remove links

Linkdirectory.fr may modify, move, temporarily make unavailable, or remove links and listings when necessary due to maintenance, changes to the website, non-compliance with the terms, legal obligations, security reasons, or other legitimate circumstances.

If a listing depends on a mutual backlink and this backlink is removed or no longer meets the agreed terms, Linkdirectory.fr may also modify or remove the corresponding listing.

Where reasonably possible, Linkdirectory.fr may investigate and process a request to modify or remove a link. Processing time may vary depending on the nature of the request and the circumstances. Neither a modification or removal of a link, nor the associated processing time, entitles the claimant to any compensation.

A link or listing on Linkdirectory.fr does not constitute a guarantee of a specific position, indexing, traffic flow, or SEO value. Linkdirectory.fr is not liable for search engine consequences arising from the presence, modification, or removal of a link.

Article 7 – Page and Content Management

Pages, articles, links, and other content on Linkdirectory.fr may be managed or provided by staff, page administrators, publishers, users, or other third parties.

Linkdirectory.fr may make reasonable efforts to monitor content and investigate reports regarding potentially unlawful or inappropriate content. This does not mean that every contribution is fully checked prior to publication or that Linkdirectory.fr guarantees that all content is error-free. Linkdirectory.fr cannot guarantee that all incorrect or inappropriate content will be detected immediately.

The party providing or publishing content remains responsible for its lawfulness, accuracy, and completeness.

If a user believes that certain information on Linkdirectory.fr is unlawful, infringes on third-party rights, or is contrary to these terms, this can be reported via the contact form at https://linkdirectory.fr/en/contact. Linkdirectory.fr will investigate such reports within a reasonable timeframe and may, depending on the circumstances, modify content, remove it, restrict access, or take further measures.

Article 8 – Access to the website and prohibited use

Users may not interfere with the normal operation, security, and availability of Linkdirectory.fr. The list of prohibited actions mentioned below is for illustrative purposes only and is not exhaustive. This means that other actions not explicitly mentioned in this list may also fall under this provision. The mere fact that an action does not appear in this list does not mean that it is permitted.

  1. Do not infringe upon intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties.
  2. Do not perform actions that hinder the use of the website by other visitors.
  3. Do not distribute spam, fraudulent messages, or other inappropriate information.
  4. Do not distribute viruses, malware, or other harmful software.
  5. Do not attempt to circumvent, disrupt, or damage the security of the website.
  6. Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases, or other parts of the website.
  7. Do not use automated means in a manner that is contrary to the applicable terms and conditions, security, or the normal operation of the website.
  8. Do not collect or use personal data of other visitors for commercial purposes without a valid legal basis.
  9. Comply with the applicable registration terms and rules of conduct for sections for which a user account is required.

Linkdirectory.fr may take appropriate technical measures to detect and limit abuse, automated access, or disruption of the website.

In the event of non-compliance with one or more of our general terms and conditions, we reserve the right, depending on the severity and circumstances, to remove content, suspend orders, or temporarily or permanently block an account.

Infringements of intellectual property rights, the dissemination of viruses, malware, or spam, as well as any attempt to circumvent our security (e.g., hacking, phishing,...) may potentially lead to criminal proceedings and a claim for damages. The extent of the damage suffered will determine the compensation, with a minimum of €500 per established infringement.

Article 9 – Registration and User Accounts

Users who register undertake to provide correct, current, complete, and non-misleading information and to update this information in a timely manner in the event of changes.

The user is responsible for keeping their password and login details confidential and must not share them with third parties. Suspected unauthorized access to an account must be reported to Linkdirectory.fr as soon as possible.

Linkdirectory.fr may request additional information when this is reasonably necessary for security, the proper functioning of the account, the execution of orders, or compliance with legal obligations.

If there are reasonable indications that the information provided is incorrect, incomplete, or misleading, or that an account is being used in violation of these terms, Linkdirectory.fr may refuse, restrict, or temporarily or permanently suspend the registration or certain services.

Article 10 – Rules of Conduct and User Content

Users may not use the personal data of other visitors for unsolicited commercial communication or other purposes that are incompatible with applicable law.

Users remain responsible for articles, comments, links, photos, videos, music, audio clips, and other materials that they submit or publish via Linkdirectory.fr.

By submitting content, the user grants Linkdirectory.fr, to the extent necessary for the operation of the agreed services, a non-exclusive right of use to host, display, technically process, and distribute that content within the framework of the platform and the services requested by the user. To the extent necessary, this includes technical adjustments, such as changing the display or format.

This right of use does not transfer the intellectual property rights of the user. Use outside the purpose for which the content was provided requires a separate legal basis or permission, unless otherwise provided by law.

The user declares that he possesses the necessary rights and permissions to use the provided materials and to have them published. The user remains responsible for third-party claims arising directly from a breach of this warranty attributable to him.

The following content is not permitted:

  • threats, stalking, defamation, serious insults or intimidation;
  • content that incites hatred, racism, negationism or unlawful discrimination;
  • content that violates applicable law or public order;
  • misleading, fraudulent or unlawful advertising;
  • content that infringes on copyrights, trademark rights or other rights of third parties;
  • spam, phishing, hacking or other attempts to mislead or damage systems or users;
  • other content that violates these terms or applicable law.

The publication of an article, comment or other contribution does not imply that Linkdirectory.fr the content expressed therein endorses opinion.

Linkdirectory.fr may investigate, modify, restrict, or remove content when there is a valid reason for doing so, including a legal obligation, a valid notification, or a violation of these terms. Where required by law, appropriate procedures will be followed.

Article 11 – Intellectual Property Rights

The intellectual property rights to the proprietary software, design, logos, texts, databases, and other components of Linkdirectory.fr belong to the administrator or to the rights holders who have granted permission for this.

Unless prior written permission has been obtained, it is not permitted to copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, modify, translate, or commercially exploit parts of the website.

Users retain the rights to the materials they provide themselves, subject to the usage rights necessary for the performance of the agreed services.

In the event of a suspected infringement, Linkdirectory.fr may request the party concerned to cease the infringement and, where appropriate, take further legal action.

Infringements of intellectual property rights may potentially lead to criminal proceedings and a claim for damages. The extent of the damage suffered will determine the compensation, with a minimum of €500 per established infringement.

Article 12 – Orders and execution of services

Orders are placed via the available functionalities of the platform. The information accompanying the offer and the conditions communicated during the ordering process also determine the characteristics of the ordered service.

Before placing an order, the user must check the description, price, any placement duration, technical characteristics, and other relevant conditions.

An order does not constitute a guarantee that a URL will be indexed, that a backlink will maintain a specific position, or that an advertisement will yield a specific commercial result.

The execution period may vary depending on the type of service, the availability of the publisher, the nature of the order, and technical or external circumstances. If an advertisement is not fully executed within a period of 7 working days after the agreed placement date, the amount corresponding to the unexecuted portion of the order will be automatically refunded in the form of a credit to the user's account. In that case, the publisher forfeits any right to compensation for the unexecuted portion of the order.

The publisher undertakes to keep placed links online and functional for the entire agreed duration. Premature removal, modification, or disabling of a link without prior permission from Linkdirectory.fr is not permitted.

If the publisher is no longer able to fulfill its obligations due to force majeure or other circumstances, it must notify Linkdirectory.fr of this without delay and take all reasonable measures to remedy the situation and resume the agreed services as soon as possible.

If the publisher intentionally fails to comply with its contractual obligations, including the deliberate premature removal or disabling of a placed link, the publisher owes a fixed compensation consisting of the purchase amount of the order concerned, plus € 125 per order concerned. This compensation serves to cover reasonably expected damages, administrative burdens, and costs arising from the relevant failure.

Furthermore, repeated or serious non-compliance with obligations by a publisher may lead to the temporary suspension or permanent termination of their account and participation in the platform.

Article 13 – Prices, payments, and online transactions

The prices of the services offered are displayed on the platform or during the ordering process. Any taxes and additional costs are communicated in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Payments may be processed by external payment service providers. The terms and conditions of the relevant payment service provider may also apply to these transactions.

Offering an online payment option does not constitute a guarantee that the payment system will always function without malfunctions, interruptions, or errors. Linkdirectory.fr is not liable for malfunctions arising from systems of external payment service providers that fall outside the reasonable control of Linkdirectory.fr.

When a transaction is concluded directly between an advertiser and a publisher, both parties are responsible for the obligations they enter into towards each other.

Article 14 – Cancellation and refund

The possibility to cancel, modify, or receive a refund for an order depends on the nature of the service, the status of the order, the agreed terms and conditions, and applicable legislation. No revocation or refund is possible for services that have already been partially or fully performed.

A refund or credit does not in itself constitute an acknowledgment that Linkdirectory.fr is responsible for changes in search engine results or for commercial results that the user intended to achieve with a campaign.

Article 15 – Payment of accrued fees

Payment of credits accrued through the affiliate program, publisher activities, or content creator activities can only be requested once the available payout balance amounts to at least €100.

To be eligible for a payout, the beneficiary must possess a valid and active VAT number and comply with the instructions and procedures imposed by Linkdirectory.fr for the correct preparation and submission of the required invoice. The invoice must comply with applicable legal and tax regulations.

A payout can only be processed after all the above conditions have been met and the required invoice has been correctly received and approved. If the beneficiary fails to meet these conditions or does not correctly submit the required documents, payment may be delayed until the deficiencies have been remedied. The accrued credit does not in itself entitle the beneficiary to immediate payment as long as the applicable conditions have not been met.

Article 16 – Availability and Technical Operation

Linkdirectory.fr strives to ensure the platform functions properly, but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the platform, nor of publisher websites on which advertisements, links, or other promotional content are placed.

The platform and publisher websites may be temporarily or permanently wholly or partially unavailable due to maintenance, updates, security measures, technical problems, malfunctions at external suppliers, network problems, changes to the infrastructure, or other circumstances.

Linkdirectory.fr cannot be held liable in any way for the availability, accessibility, operation, content, performance, or continuity of publisher websites, nor for any damage, loss, or costs arising from malfunctions, changes, interruptions, removals, or the going offline of these websites. This includes, among other things, the temporary or permanent invisibility, inaccessibility, or removal of placed advertisements, links, and other promotional content. The responsibility for the management, operation, and availability of these websites rests solely with the respective publishers.

Linkdirectory.fr is also not responsible for the consequences of technical malfunctions or temporary unavailability of its own platform that could not reasonably have been prevented, including indirect and consequential damages.

Article 17 – Limitation of Liability

Linkdirectory.fr performs its services with the reasonable care that may be expected of a professional platform operator.

Linkdirectory.fr is not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, lost profits, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, loss of visitors, loss of potential customers, or missed business opportunities related to the use of the platform.

Linkdirectory.fr is not responsible for the commercial performance of a campaign, including the number of visitors, clicks, leads, sales, conversions, or the final revenue of an advertisement.

Linkdirectory.fr is not liable for consequences arising from decisions of search engines, changes to external websites, or actions of third parties.

Liability for acts or omissions of publishers and other third parties is assessed on the basis of the specific circumstances. Linkdirectory.fr will endeavor, where possible and within its powers, to act as a mediator in disputes between users and publishers, with the aim of reaching an amicable solution. However, Linkdirectory.fr is not obliged to do so and cannot guarantee that a dispute will be resolved.

Your use of our service is entirely at your own risk. The service is provided in its current state ("AS IS") and on an "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranties.

Article 18 – Indemnification and Third-Party Claims

Users are responsible for the content, materials, URLs, and instructions they provide and for the lawfulness of their own activities via the platform.

If a user infringes the rights of third parties or causes damage through their own actions or omissions, they may be held liable for this in accordance with applicable law.

Article 19 – Suspension and Termination of Accounts

Users may terminate their account in accordance with the functionalities and procedures available on the platform.

Linkdirectory.fr may temporarily suspend or terminate an account in the event of serious or repeated violations of these terms, fraud, abuse, security risks, or other valid reasons.

The termination of an account does not affect existing payment obligations or other obligations that, by their nature, remain in effect after termination.

Article 20 – Privacy and personal data

Linkdirectory.fr processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

More information about the personal data processed, the purposes of the processing, the legal grounds, retention periods, and user rights is included in Linkdirectory.fr’s separate privacy statement. The privacy statement is available via https://linkdirectory.fr/en/privacy.

Users may not use personal data of other users for unsolicited commercial communications or other purposes that are incompatible with applicable law.

Article 21 – Force Majeure

No party shall be liable for the failure or delay in performing its obligations when this is the result of circumstances reasonably beyond its control and the consequences of which could not have been avoided despite reasonable efforts.

Such circumstances may, depending on the specific situation, include, among others, severe network failures, large-scale cyber incidents, government measures, natural disasters, war, strikes, or prolonged outages at essential external service providers.

The party concerned shall, where reasonably possible, take appropriate measures to mitigate the consequences. If the execution of an order becomes permanently impossible, the further consequences shall be determined by the applicable agreement and the applicable legislation.

Article 22 – Complaints Procedure

Users who have a complaint regarding Linkdirectory.fr, an order, or a service offered can contact us via the contact form at https://linkdirectory.fr/en/contact.

Please preferably include the order number, the URL involved, a clear description of the complaint, and any relevant supporting documents.

Linkdirectory.fr investigates complaints within a reasonable timeframe and strives to find an appropriate solution.

Parties attempt to resolve disputes by mutual consultation in the first instance.

Article 23 – Applicable Law and Disputes

Belgian law applies to these general terms and conditions.

Disputes fall exclusively under Belgian law and shall be submitted only to the courts of Brussels. If any of these conditions should be void or inapplicable, the remaining conditions shall remain in full force and effect.

Article 24 – Severability

If one or more provisions of these general terms and conditions prove to be wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in force.

The invalid or unenforceable provision shall, where possible, be replaced by a valid provision that approximates the original purpose as closely as possible without being contrary to applicable law.

Article 25 – Contact Details

For questions regarding these general terms and conditions, orders, or the use of the platform, users may contact us via the contact details listed on Linkdirectory.fr.

By using Linkdirectory.fr, the user confirms that they have been able to consult these general terms and conditions, in compliance with applicable law.
